Yu Massage is a Shanghai massage chain with branches in Huangpu, Jing'an and Xuhui, and this People's Square address on Huangpi Bei Road is the most central. The house style is a Chinese courtyard interior with aromatherapy oil massage as the signature treatment, alongside hot stone therapy, lymphatic work, meridian treatments and moxibustion, plus nails and lash services at some branches. A full-body oil massage runs around 300 RMB an hour, putting it between a neighbourhood parlour and a hotel spa. It opens late, which is the point for anyone arriving after dinner. People's Square station on Metro Lines 1, 2 and 8 is a few minutes on foot.
