Mandarin House (People's Square)

Mandarin House is a Chinese-language school on Hankou Road in Huangpu, a short walk from Nanjing Road and People's Square, with a second campus in Xujiahui. It runs group and private courses from beginner to advanced, with intensive, part-time and one-to-one options. Course fees are billed by level rather than per visit, and run roughly from ¥2,000 for a short conversational block up to ¥4,600 and above for a full comprehensive course. The People's Square campus sits above four metro lines, which makes it one of the easier schools to reach.
