Beta Boulders (Jing'an)

Beta Boulders is a bouldering gym in Jing'an, tucked inside the Anken Life sports complex on Changhua Lu. It is bouldering only, so no ropes or harness, and it has hotel-quality locker rooms with sauna, showers and towels plus one of the first Kilter training boards in Shanghai. Day passes run around 110 to 120 RMB with shoe rental about 10 RMB; reserve weekday evenings and weekend daytimes on their WeChat (beta-boulders-gym), walk in otherwise. A good entry point as indoor climbing goes mainstream in the city.
