Fuxing Park
复兴公园
Fuxing Park is a historic public garden at 105 Yandang Road in Huangpu, laid out in a formal European style with tree-lined avenues, flower beds, a central fountain and rows of mature plane trees. Opened in 1909, it is one of the busiest and most sociable green spaces in central Shanghai, filling each morning with tai chi, ballroom dancing, chess and choirs, and staying lively in the evenings thanks to the bars nearby. Admission is free and the park is open daily from 06:00 to 18:00. An easy, atmospheric stop near Sinan Road and Middle Fuxing Road for a walk, a coffee or some people-watching.
