West Bund Dome Art Center

West Bund Dome Art Center is an art and exhibition venue on the Xuhui riverside, a century-old cement factory reborn as a soaring dome that hosts the kind of exhibitions people cross the city for. Programming is entirely event-dependent: the Rolex Oyster Story centenary show wrapped at the end of June 2026, and the space turns over between shows, so check what is on before making the trip. Many exhibitions are free with an advance reservation, and the surrounding West Bund corridor rewards a whole afternoon: galleries, riverside lawns, and coffee within a ten-minute stroll.
