JZ Club

JZ Club is a live jazz club on Hengshan Road in Xuhui, inside the Watertower Plaza complex near Wulumuqi Road South. Founded in 2004, it moved here in 2024. The 1,280 square metre space has an old-Shanghai feel with velvet drapes, art deco lighting, and a theatre-style layout over two levels. A resident house band plays most nights with early and late sets, often joined by touring guests. Walk-in seating is around 300 RMB per person; show tickets run 128 to 198 RMB with a drink. Take Hengshan Road metro station.
