Shanghai University

Shanghai University is a large public research university in Baoshan district, on Shangda Road in the north of the city. Its main Baoshan campus spreads across a green, lake-dotted site and gathers most of the schools, research institutes and international exchange offices, with two smaller campuses at Yanchang and Jiading. It is a common landmark and study base for international students, and the tree-lined grounds are pleasant to walk when classes are in session. There is no admission charge to the campus itself. It sits beside Shanghai University metro on Line 7, with Shangda Road station on Line 15 also close by.
