Ocean's Table

Ocean's Table is a contemporary Spanish seafood restaurant in Jing'an, where chef Ferran Edo Andreu has taken over the former Commune Social space on Jiangning Lu with a seafood-first menu and a terrace brunch, now running Friday through Sunday, that has become the summer booking everyone in Jing'an is chasing. Brunch sets run 268 to 398 RMB; dinner is a la carte with mains up to about 288 RMB, and most people land around 259 RMB a head. Come for the seafood rice, stay on the terrace until the plane trees go gold. Book ahead for weekends.
