上海自然博物馆

The Shanghai Natural History Museum is a large science museum in Jing'an District, set inside Jing'an Sculpture Park behind a nautilus shell facade. Part of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum, it holds over 280,000 specimens across zoology, botany, paleontology, geology and human culture, with dinosaur skeletons, live animal displays and hands-on exhibits that suit families. Bilingual signage helps international visitors. Adult tickets are around ¥30, students ¥12, and children under 1.3 metres enter free. Book ahead, bring ID, and allow three to five hours.
