Modern Sky Lab

Modern Sky Lab is a live music venue and live house on the third floor of the Ruihong Tiandi complex at 188 Ruihong Road in Hongkou, a short walk from Linping Road metro. Run by the Modern Sky label, it pairs a roughly 1,200 capacity concert hall with a bar, cafe and exhibition space, and books touring indie, rock, electronic and pop acts alongside local bands. Two balconies wrap around a floor level stage. Tickets vary by act and usually land between 120 and 320 RMB per person. Show times change with each event, so check the listing before you go.
