Jing'an Park

静安公园

Jing'an Park is a free public park in central Shanghai's Jing'an district on Nanjing West Road, opposite Jing'an Temple. Once a cemetery, it now hosts over 300 plant species, a plane tree avenue, a small lake, and shaded lawns where morning tai chi groups and lunchtime office crowds gather. A cafe and a restaurant are inside the grounds. Open daily from 06:00 to 20:30, it's an easy green break near the Line 2 and Line 7 metro stops and the area's shopping streets. Entry is free.
