Holy Spice

Holy Spice is a Balinese-inspired Indonesian restaurant on Fuxing Xi Lu in Xuhui, Shanghai, built around Indonesian spices, textures and aromas by the OHA Group in the former Maolago space. The draw beyond the food is the plant-filled rooftop terrace, a rare open-air perch on this quiet stretch of Fuxing Xi Lu. It is a good pick when you want something warm-climate and a little different from the neighbourhood's usual bistros.
