Fabula is a Michelin one-star tasting-menu restaurant on Weihai Road in Jing'an, Shanghai, from three young chefs who trained across Ningbo, Foshan, and Shanghai. The eclectic tasting menu, 1,280 RMB, shifts with the season and draws on all three chefs' hometown ingredients and techniques. The room is an intimate third-floor space at 720 Weihai Road, easy to reach from West Nanjing Road, and small enough that booking ahead is the only way in for weekends.
