Daning Park

Daning Park is a large free public park in Jing'an, on Guangzhong Xi Lu a short walk from Shanghai Circus World metro station on Line 1. Long known as Daning Lingshi Park, it spreads across wide lawns, a boating lake crossed by stone bridges, wooded walking paths and a rock garden, and it draws its heaviest crowds for the tulip display it stages from mid-March through April. Entry is free, though visitors scan a code at the gate to register. Opening hours shift with the season, running 05:00 to 19:00 in high summer and closing an hour earlier over winter.
