Century Park
Century Park is a large public park in Pudong, spread across roughly 140 hectares beside the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum on Metro Line 2. It gathers lakes, open lawns, birch and willow groves, cycling paths and boat rental into a genuinely spacious green escape, popular for jogging, family picnics, kite-flying and weekend cycling. Since the perimeter fencing came down in 2024 the park is free to enter and open around the clock. A calm, easy half-day outdoors and a good reset from the density of the city.
