Big Bamboo

Big Bamboo is a long-running expat sports bar on the Hongmei Lu entertainment strip near Hongqiao, and one of the busiest rooms in the city for a Premier League weekend. Expect big screens, pool tables, pub food and a loud, friendly crowd of regulars, with a spend of about ¥50 to 150 per person depending on how the night runs. It sits out west, so plan the ride home; the older Jing'an branch on Nanyang Lu has closed.
