Sihang Warehouse Battle Memorial

The Sihang Warehouse Battle Memorial sits on the south bank of Suzhou Creek in Jing'an, inside the grey-brick warehouse where a small Chinese force held out during the 1937 defence of Shanghai. The scarred west wall has been preserved, and the museum inside tells the story with photographs, models and artefacts. Admission is free and no booking is needed, with timed free guided talks through the day. It is a natural, sobering stop on a Suzhou Creek walk up from the Bund.
