Lu Xun Park
鲁迅公园
Lu Xun Park is a free public park in Hongkou District, on the east side of Sichuan Bei Lu behind Hongkou Football Stadium, served by metro Lines 3 and 8. Formerly Hongkou Park, it features classical Chinese landscaping with lakes, willow-lined paths, and pavilions. Locals gather in the large plaza for morning exercise, group dancing, and weekend matchmaking. The park holds the tomb of writer Lu Xun, a memorial hall, and his former residence nearby. Cherry trees attract crowds each spring. Entry is free, gates open roughly 06:00 to 19:00. An easy, unhurried stop in northern Shanghai.
