Former Residence of Zhou Enlai

The Former Residence of Zhou Enlai is a historic house museum in a Spanish style garden villa at 73 Sinan Road in Huangpu, near Fuxing Park. Known as the Zhou Residence, it served in 1946 and 1947 as the Shanghai office of the Communist Party delegation, and Zhou Enlai stayed and received visitors here during the negotiations of that period. The rooms are kept with period furniture, photographs and documents, and the small garden is open to wander. Admission is free and no booking is needed. It opens Tuesday to Sunday from 09:00 to 16:00 and closes on Monday.
