Sam's Club (Shanghai Pudong)

山姆会员商店(上海浦东店)

Sam's Club Shanghai Pudong is a members-only warehouse store on Gaoke West Road in Pudong, spread over three floors of the Youyou Commercial Centre. It is the address foreign residents fall back on for bulk Western groceries, imported cheese and dairy, baking supplies, wine, large cuts of meat and household goods that are awkward to find elsewhere in the city. Individual membership costs 260 RMB a year and a business tier is 680 RMB; you cannot shop or use the delivery app without one. Bring a bag or drive, because pack sizes are genuinely warehouse-scale. Jinxiu Road station on Metro Line 7 is about a ten-minute walk, and the store's own app delivers across much of Shanghai.

Ole' Supermarket (Lujiazui L+Mall)

Ole'精品超市

Ole' is a premium supermarket in Pudong's Lujiazui district, on the B2 level of the L+Mall at 655 Shangcheng Road. Run by China Resources Vanguard, it stocks a heavily imported assortment, around 70 percent of the goods, with international wine and cheese, plus bakery and fresh counters. Prices run higher than a standard chain supermarket. The store is inside a major retail complex served by Metro lines 2 and 9, making it a handy upscale grocery stop in the central Pudong business area.

IKEA Shanghai Beicai

宜家上海北蔡商场

IKEA Shanghai Beicai is a large flat-pack furniture and home goods store in Pudong New District. The branch runs the full IKEA format: a marked showroom route through room settings, a warehouse floor for self-serve pickup, a Swedish restaurant, and a food market near the exit. Shoppers browse sofas, storage, kitchenware, textiles, and lighting across dozens of room displays, with parking on site. The nearest metro is Yuqiao on lines 11 and 18, and shuttle buses run to the store. Standard hours are 10:00 to 21:00 daily. It is one of the two remaining large IKEA branches in Shanghai.
