The officially licensed Evangelion English afternoon tea pop-up runs at Takashimaya Shanghai from July 4 to August 30, 2026, marking the anime's 30th anniversary. The 4F tea room serves character-themed sets, think berry souffles and themed tea drinks, while a 1F counter sells limited merchandise including 24K gold-plated badges and teacup sets. Reservations were only required for the opening week, so you can now walk in during store hours, 10:00 to 21:30; weekends draw serious queues of fans.
